Aerial Arts Instruction in Orlando, FL

I teach silks, lyra (aerial hoop), trapeze, and aerial frame to kids and adults in Orlando, Florida, emphasizing movement, empowerment, and trauma-informed pedagogy. Previously, I taught beginner silks and trapeze at Gainesville Circus Center in Gainesville, Florida.

My aerial teaching style involves:

  • Skill instruction with consideration for past injuries and body limitations
  • Transition guidance for more efficient aerial choreography and smoother movements
  • Cross-apparatus translation of major skills
  • Mindset shifts to help you break through plateaus and unlock your body and spirit’s full potential

Current Offerings

I teach adult aerial silks at Orlando Aerial Arts. My class schedule is currently:

  • Wednesdays 6:30–7:30

Orlando Circus Arts and Dance Coaching

Aerial dance and ground acrobatics are only part of the larger discipline of circus arts. If you’re a cabaret, burlesque, or variety performer, you can elevate your act — literally — with these skills.

However, it can be a challenge to integrate these various performance styles. Perhaps you’d like to add some circus movement to your burlesque act, or you’ve been dabbling in aerial but aren’t sure how to choreograph it.

Want to learn some aerial moves or solve choreography problems? Need some personalized instruction for circus- or vaudeville-style dance and ground movement.

    Cirque and Acroburly Fitness

I’ve long found dance and circus movement to be a MUCH funner way to exercise than the good ol’ treadmill! However, many studios don’t offer fitness-based circus or dance classes. Or if they do, they’re more focused on conditioning or fat-burning rather than functional training.

That’s why I created my own blend of resistance-based and aerobic exercise, inspired by the movement disciplines of circus, jazz, and contemporary dance. You can learn more at my companion website, Elevate with Elle.
