As a costume designer and cosplayer, Elle is fascinated by how costume communicates character. Her whimsical, innovative aesthetic has contributed to theatrical world-building for groundbreaking plays and musicals. Elle believes that the character needs to be strongly expressed, and that anything is possible in the fantasy genre (in which she’s primarily designed). An inventive costume designer, Elle has often repurposed and revamped clothing items — or even costumed with items not typically used as clothing.
